Forecast5 and Wisconsin Association of School Boards to Collaborate on Development of Analytics for Wisconsin K-12 Schools

The Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) and Forecast5 Analytics announced an agreement to develop and deliver custom analytics for Wisconsin schools.

for Wisconsin K-12 Schools 

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (January 22, 2013) —The Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) and Forecast5 Analytics announced an agreement to develop and deliver custom analytics for Wisconsin schools. WASB will work with Forecast5 to help guide the evolution and use of 5Sight, the company’s Business Intelligence application for schools.  Additionally, the organizations will promote the use of 5Share, Forecast5’s unique business collaboration platform which will allow Wisconsin schools to accelerate the benefits of analytics.

"The relationship with the WASB is going to be very beneficial in terms of guiding the development of analytic tools focused towards strategic planning and governance issues for school boards,” Forecast5 President and CEO Mike English said. “Forecast5 is proud to be able to serve Wisconsin schools in collaboration with the WASB and we are excited to have the chance to increase opportunities for student learning." 

WASB Executive Director John Ashley also spoke about the benefits of the relationship for the students. “Forecast5 will provide our members with a valuable tool to facilitate data-based decisions on financial and personnel matters that will improve the educational outcomes of our pupils.”

During this week’s State Education Convention being held in Milwaukee, Forecast5 and WASB are highlighting 5Sight for Wisconsin schools. This dynamic Business Intelligence and visualization tool utilizes interactive graphics that fast-track insights and help drive decisions.
