NAPERVILLE, Ill. (August 14, 2013) —Forecast5 Analytics, Inc. and the New York State Association of School Business Officials (NYSASBO) announced a partnership agreement to develop analytics and Business Intelligence applications for New York State schools. By joining with the New York State Council of School Superintendents as a Forecast5 partner, NYSASBO becomes the eleventh association from six different states to join the Forecast5 Corporate Partner Program.

Through an effort between Forecast5 and NYSASBO, the organizations have customized 5Sight for New York State schools. 5Sight is a dynamic Business Intelligence and visualization platform which helps schools drive decisions with competitive and comparative insight. 5Share, the second product of Forecast5, is a social collaboration engine which allows school business officials to communicate around the data.

“It has been rewarding to see how schools around the country have been able to benefit from the analytics available in 5Sight,” Forecast5 President and CEO Mike English said. “The opportunity to work collaboratively with school business officials in the State of New York is going to fast track the benefits of analytics for schools, students, and communities in New York. We are very excited to be able to work with NYSASBO and their professional membership.”

“NYSASBO believes Forecast5’s analytical tools will be a tremendous asset to school districts and their business officials in developing budgets and  long-range fiscal plans,” stated Michael J. Borges, NYSASBO Executive Director.

The 5Sight Business Intelligence application will be available for purchase by New York State school districts in late September. Later this fall, the launch of 5Share will give NYSASBO members a new business collaboration platform.
