Minnesota Schools Introduced to Forecast5 Business Intelligence Platform

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (April 22, 2013) —Minnesota K-12 school districts are the latest to gain access to 5Sight, the Forecast5 Business Intelligence platform designed to allow public school administrators to align financial and strategic plans through the use of data analytics and data visualization. Minnesota is the third state to go live with 5Sight, joining Illinois and Wisconsin.

“Throughout our development process, it has been exciting to see Minnesota education leaders react to 5Sight,” Forecast5  CEO/President Mike English said. “The platform has effectively taken their raw financial data and turned it into actionable information.  I believe that Minnesota school finance professionals will be at the forefront in developing new analytics within 5Sight and this is going to benefit students in Minnesota as well as around the country.”

Forecast5 National Sales Director Scott Smith spoke about the benefits of 5Sight. “The increased need for financial transparency, as demanded by the public, has created a need for tools that school districts can use to easily meet those expectations. During a time when resources are often limited, using business analytics to help make financial decisions is becoming a must in order to continue to enhance the educational experience of students. Data visualization helps administrators, school board members, and the public easily see where there are potential opportunities for improved efficiency.”

Forecast5 will be highlighting 5Sight at the Minnesota ASBO Annual Conference, May 1-3 at the Breezy Point Resort in Breezy Point, Minnesota. Product demonstrations will be available at Booth #58 during the upcoming conference.  In addition, Forecast5  COO Vladimir Dragosavljevic will present Business Intelligence: NOT an Oxymoron in Lakeside B at the Breezy Point Resort on Thursday, May 2 from 3:00 - 3:50 p.m.
