All three Alliance associations are proud to join the “5Sight” program recently developed by Forecast5. 5Sight is a dynamic business intelligence tool that allows school districts to drive decisions with competitive and comparative insight.

Recently, 5Sight was featured at the IASA Conference, at the 2012 Joint Annual Conference in Chicago and through demos across the state. The Forecast5 platform includes cloud-based business intelligence software, interactive visuals and a collaborative analytics engine.

“I am really impressed with the 5Sight tool that Forecast5 Analytics has developed,” said Dr. Brent Clark, Executive Director of IASA. “This is a tool that can help school districts as they try to become even more efficient in these difficult budget times. This tool can provide some great peer analysis opportunities.”

Dr. Michael Jacoby, Illinois ASBO Executive Director said; “Forecast5 takes mountains of data already generated by districts and makes it useable, accessible and comparable. With this information in the hands of Illinois school leaders, I am convinced that the landscape of decision making will change rapidly from those based on assumptions to those driven by real data. This will be a “game changer” for education in Illinois and across the nation.”

"There is no question that in these difficult fiscal times, the ability to access and analyze various and multiple types of data is crucial,” IASB Executive Director Roger Eddy said. “We are happy to add Forecast5 to our growing list of sponsored programs."

The relationship with IASA, Illinois ASBO and IASB was welcomed by Mike English, President and CEO at Forecast5.

“These are truly dynamic organizations built and driven by thought-leadership,” English said. “This relationship will greatly accelerate the development of business intelligence tools for Illinois schools. But more than just building smart tools, in working with the associations, Forecast5 will have an opportunity to deliver a transformational analytics platform that will benefit students across the state.”

Early Adopter Opportunity:  Forecast5 officially launched the platform at the Joint Annual Conference in November, and is offering a 10% early adopter discount to districts that sign on before December 31st.
