Forecast5 Analytics Announces Partnership with Community College Business Officers Organization

NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS (April 4, 2017) — Forecast5 Analytics and the Community College Business Officers (CCBO) organization have announced a new partnership to deliver financial forecasting and data analytics tools to community colleges across the country. CCBO is the only national organization exclusively serving the professional development needs of community college business officers across the United States and Canada.

Forecast5 has now partnered with 38 professional development associations to deliver data analytics tools to their members. More than 1,000 local government clients from 23 states utilize Forecast5 software, including community colleges, K-12 school districts, cities, and counties.

Community Colleges that utilize the Forecast suite of solutions through the partnership will have access to the 5Cast product for budget-building and multi-year forecasting using their own general ledger data. 5Cast allows users to generate “what-if” scenarios and instantly compare the results. Additionally, the tool helps college leaders understand and communicate how changing state funding levels, enrollment shifts, and varying program delivery costs impact the future.

Forecast5 will immediately become an active participant in the CCBO organization by providing an online professional development webinar series throughout the year to CCBO members. Team members will also teach at the CCBO Leadership Academy and offer a bonus immersion project that focuses on financial forecasting.

Hans Weichhart, Executive Director at CCBO commented on the new partnership. "We are excited to embark on this partnership with Forecast5 Analytics. The community college business officer is playing a critical role in shaping the financial futures of the campuses as they continue to experience budget cuts and are having to find new sources of revenue and revised savings models. Partnering with a company like Forecast5 will bring education and technology into the business officer’s toolkit and exclusively to CCBO members."

“Forecast5 Analytics is excited to partner with CCBO to bring cutting edge analytic technology to colleges across America and partner with them to provide the professional development needed to maximize the use of these tools,” Mike English, Forecast5 President and CEO said. “My father was a community college CFO in Illinois, so I personally understand the important role organizations like CCBO play in advancing the profession.”
