Forecast5 Becomes a CASBO Partner

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (February 19, 2016) — Forecast5 Analytics, Inc. has partnered with the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO) to bring data analytics and business intelligence technology to California school leaders. In partnership with CASBO, Forecast5 will use statewide public data to provide powerful analytic tools that will help California school districts gain insights and drive key financial and strategic decisions.

In addition to its base catalog of school performance analytics, Forecast5 will partner with CASBO and its members to develop new analytics based on specific datasets produced by California schools.  The comparative benchmarking application, 5Sight, can be used by school administrators to generate valuable insights across a number of key performance areas.

Mike English, CEO and president of Forecast5 commented, “There is a tremendous amount of data that California schools are required to produce, and with it, Forecast5 has been able to create some unique analytics that should drive a number of new ideas with positive financial outcomes.  We are excited to be able to work with CASBO to identify the highest value data sets and turn them into meaningful growth opportunities for local school districts.”

Molly McGee Hewitt, executive director of CASBO added, “In this era of financial constraints within our state education system, CASBO is leading its members toward innovative solutions. Data analytics represent a real opportunity for our members. We are encouraged by the work that Forecast5 has done in other states and we are looking forward to partnering on behalf of California schools.”

In addition to participating in CASBO events throughout the year, Forecast5 will be participating in a leadership track workshop at the upcoming CASBO Annual Conference, April 13-16 in Pasadena, California.
