AESA and Forecast5 Analytics Announce New Partnership to Deliver
Data Analytics Solutions to Educational Service Agencies
KATY, Texas (October 11, 2016) — Forecast5 Analytics and the Association of Educational Service Agencies (AESA) have partnered together to introduce and offer AESA members and affiliate Educational Service Agencies (ESA) a suite of powerful analytic tools designed to assist school districts with financial and strategic decisions.
The partnership with AESA adds to a growing list of associations that have joined with Forecast5 in delivering data analytics services to their members. Thirty education associations from 14 different states are part of a growing alliance that represent more than 900 districts that utilize Forecast5 products nationwide.
Forecast5 is currently serving multiple ESAs that have implemented the platform for each of their member districts. These ESAs are generating value for their members through the use of the software and the service being provided by the organization in partnership with Forecast5.
Joan Wade, Executive Director at AESA commented on the new partnership. “AESA is excited about our partnership with Forecast5 Analytics, a leader in analytic technology. Forecast5 has the ability to put complicated data into usable reports for ESAs and the school districts they serve. AESA looks for business partners that will work with our member organizations, grow their business, and provide valuable services through the ESA. Forecast5 does exactly that. The reports that are generated from this unique software have been, and continue to be, used by top-level administrators to help make informed decisions for their districts.”
Agencies and their member districts that utilize the Forecast suite of solutions through the partnership will have access to statewide comparative analytics and rich data visualizations found in the 5Sight business intelligence tool. Through 5Sight, users are able to quickly generate insights using data across several areas of school operations for assistance with collective bargaining, budgeting, position control analysis, enrollment trends and projections, student performance analysis, and many other uses.
Beyond the statewide data found in 5Sight, ESAs can also establish their own networking site for communication and data sharing through 5Share. This online community allows members of a specific ESA to discuss relevant topics, share important documents, and collect custom datasets that Forecast5 then converts into custom charts and graphs.
Districts and ESAs are also able to leverage the 5Cast product for budget-building and multi-year forecasting using their own general ledger data. 5Cast allows users to generate “what-if” scenarios and instantly compare the results. Powerful pre-built reports are accessible to allow for easy communication with key stakeholders.
“We are thrilled to partner with AESA to help ESAs bring additional value to their members,” Eric Smith, Strategic Partnership Director at Forecast5 Analytics said. “AESA has an excellent reputation for serving their members at a high level. That commitment to service and education lines up perfectly with the Forecast5 mission and we look forward to a long relationship that will benefit the agencies, their districts, and the students they serve. Our team feels strongly that the tools we have in place are a perfect fit for ESAs that are looking for new and innovative ways to serve their members in a data-driven world.”
