Meet Travis Zander

Posted on May 1, 2019 10:39:51 AM

Meet Travis Zander, former Director of Budget and Planning for Austin ISD with a passion for world travel.

What is your name and current position?
Travis Zander, CPA, Senior Analytics Advisor.

How long have you been employed at Forecast5?
Since February of 2019.

What office are you based out of?
I work remotely out of Austin, Texas.

Why did you join Forecast5?
As a previous client of Forecast5, I was amazed by the products. It gave me great insight into analytics that would have taken me hours to run before. This helped me to make data-based decisions and bring forward several financial scenarios to district leadership.

What is the most interesting or favorite part of your job?
I love helping clients find solutions to their problems and create efficiencies they didn’t realize were possible. I also enjoy when they can quickly and easily see insights into where a long-term trend is going to take them.

What are some cool projects you’ve seen our clients do with F5 products?
Clients would look at some analytics run out of 5Sight and realize that they had coding errors in their PIEMs submission. They were able to take a screen shot in the work session and start a discussion about coding consistency.

What is your favorite movie/book/music?
Die Hard/ The Firm/ 90’s Rock.

Tell us one interesting fact about yourself?
I love to travel. I spent a year in Germany getting a second degree in International Business.
