Stewart Mhyre, Senior Analytics Advisor.

How long have you been employed at Forecast5?
I started working for Forecast5 on January 13, 2020.

What office are you based out of?
I will be working remotely in Washington State to support and grow accounts in the state.

What position did you hold prior to coming to Forecast5?
I was the Executive Director of Business and Operations with the Edmonds School District, a district with 20,000 students.

Why did you join Forecast5?
I was a Forecast5 client and saw the power it had to answer tough financial questions quickly. I wanted to use my experience in Washington State to help districts make data-driven decisions and more effectively share their story with stakeholders.

What is the most interesting or favorite part of your job?
Providing leadership for the entire state in analyzing and presenting data is my favorite part of the job. Forecast5 makes this possible for any business official to accomplish quickly and easily. Seeing the amazing websites and stories districts are able to tell is the most interesting. The tools and analytics make telling a story so easy—and easy to understand.

What are some cool projects you've seen our clients do with Forecast5 products?
School district finance is very complex and hard to comprehend. I've seen districts create amazing websites that tell their story in a way that is easy to understand. They are able to visually explain the complexities of school district funding.

What is your favorite movie/book/music?
My favorite movie is Inception. My favorite book is Boundaries for Leaders. I like all kinds of music, though.

What is an interesting fact about yourself (personal or professional)?
I love photography and love to travel. My wife and I just finished a five-month journey traveling around the U.S. in our 5th-wheel travel trailer.
