Meet Stan WislerPosted on Aug 9, 2019 10:23:15 AM
Meet Stan Wisler, one of those crazy runners and former Pennsylvania CFO turned Strategic Account Advisor.
What is your name and current position?Stan Wisler, Strategic Account Advisor.
How long have you been employed at Forecast5?
I started working for Forecast5 August 5, 2019.
What office are you based out of?
I will be working remotely in Pennsylvania to support and grow the accounts in the state.
What position did you hold prior to coming to Forecast5?
I am the former Chief Financial Officer for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, a position that I have held for 14 years. My prior experience was as a school district business manager for five different districts in Montgomery and Bucks Counties.
Why did you join Forecast5?
I have used Forecast5 tools to a limited degree in my role as CFO for the MCIU. The tools are much more applicable to the school district environment, however, I think the company, the tools, and the philosophy behind the products is outstanding. I love the idea of using data to tell the district's story, build trust, and foster accountability and transparency. At the same time, I believe the tools can make a very complex job more manageable.
What is the most interesting or favorite part of your job?
My ability to assist the school districts of Montgomery County and do my best to make their jobs easier and more effective. It has allowed me to provide leadership development as well as serve a multitude of school related organizations. I like the variety of the job responsibilities and being in a position where I can have a positive impact.
What is an interesting fact about yourself (personal or professional)?
I love working in my yard – landscaping, etc.
I love running and working out – I have done a 31 mile trail run, two trail marathons, a road marathon, as well as countless other runs of various distances. I have done two Spartans (obstacle course race) and the Tough Mudder.
Any other information you would like to share:
I am very excited to join the team at Forecast5 and consider it a real privilege to be able to join a fine group of people. I have been impressed with Forecast5 (the culture and people – and the tools of course) since my first introduction when I attended a Forecast5 session at the ASBO New York Conference four or five years ago.
